Metristepe Victory Monument
The monument rising on Metristepe, where the Battles of İnönü were won — the best known landmark of Bozüyük.

Metristepe was one of the decisive positions in the First and Second Battles of İnönü. The Victory Monument rising on the hill was raised in memory of those who fell in the fighting, and greets visitors with a commanding view over the Bozüyük plain.

The famous telegram Mustafa Kemal sent to the front after the Second Battle of İnönü is associated with this ground. The monument is the first stop for anyone following the route of the War of Independence.
