Dodurga Reservoir is a quiet stretch of water about 5 kilometres southeast of the town of Dodurga, south of Bozüyük. It lies at 1,073 metres above sea level.
Because the reservoir is surrounded by cultivated fields, it is poor in trees. There are plenty of places to sit and rest along the shore, but shade is hard to find — in summer it is worth bringing a hat and an umbrella.
The real attraction here is the quiet. The mist that covers the surface in the early morning and the poppies that open along the shore in spring make fine pictures for anyone who enjoys photography.
The town of Dodurga is 20 kilometres from the centre of Bozüyük. Coming from the Bozüyük direction, the road turns south towards the reservoir 2.9 kilometres after the Darıdere junction. Following that road, you reach the point of the reservoir embankment after 1.5 kilometres.
There are no facilities around the reservoir; you will need to bring your own food and drink.
The road and the water level change with the season; we suggest checking before you set out.
